First of all some good news and some sad news. Good news:
Look who appeared in the backyard the other day! It's Alan Possum-Face!! He's alive! He wasn't killed by Smokee's jealous Pimp Boyfriend!! Of course, now we have to revisit the idea of capturing him. And now that he's not eating here regularly, I'm stymied. Oh well, at least he's still alive.
The sad news is that Deb called me the other day to report that Orange Creme/Mike had died. He had some bad kitten virus that took him quickly. Sad. He was a sweet little thing.
Now, I'm going to post a picture, but because I am a responsible and ethical producer of web content, I feel I should issue a warning. So go ahead and look at your own risk, but don't say I didn't warn you. This picture's level of Kitten Cuteosity may be too high for the average person's comfort. Be prepared to sit down with a cold compress or something, because it really is almost unbearably and intolerably cute.

So glad to see Alan Possumface! (Although the first time I looked at the photo I thought Smokee was Alan and Alan was a rock!!)
Mike didn't have a long life, but he was loved.
And hugs in a basket!!! So cute!!
