I finished one Wintergreen Mitten:

Love love love. I've cast on for the second one, because I sense I'm heading for Second Mitten Syndrome.

I was over at Crossroad Knits and saw Liz's beauteous Herringbone Mitts and was smitten. The pattern would be perfect for the red and orange Cascade 220 that I originally intended for the Wintergreen Mittens before I came to my senses.

Yes, yes, I'll get back to my Tangled Yoke Cardigan one of these days....

Okay, I got the latest KnitPicks catalog yesterday and was idly perusing it when I came upon the following. I cannot fathom my eyes. I was sure that this was a joke, but maybe it's not:

What?! What the $&#*??? Are they really "timeless and universally-appealing"? I don't think so! And a toilet roll cover pattern called "Tinkling The Ivories"???!!! I don't care if it's "keyboard-inspired"! EWWWWW!!!!

Oh, I could think of much worse pattern names than that.

CG - well, you know I like to make presents for you!! Watch out! (Now that I'm the cover for the roll in use or for the next roll to be used?)

liz - maybe we could start a "Tinkling The Ivories" Knit-Along? WA HA HA!! Or NOT.
