SNOW DAY!!!! YIPPEEE!!!!

Somebody knows how to do a snow day right - he "suggested" pancakes as a special Snow Day breakfast (I obliged), then put on nearly every piece of clothing he owns, went out, made a snow angel, brushed off both cars, shoveled the sidewalk, threw some snowballs at the trees, built a snowman, then came in, put on warm comfy clothes, "suggested" hot chocolate, and then settled in front of the tv to take in some cartoons.

Yeah, snow day.....

That's a busy morning for a seven-almost-eight-year-old, but it sounds as if he's got it just about right. The pancakes sound great (I had a blueberry bagel, but who's complaining?), and so do the hot chocolate and tv.
When is it supposed to start melting?

In Baltimore, we have about 3/4 of an inch AND we got a snow day!! Woohoo!! Although the downside is that we're getting freezing rain and its super icy and slippery. So the critters and I are staying inside -- I'm dreading the afternoon walk with Owain. I actually would have liked a good few inches of fluffy white snow.

I love that Gus instinctively knows how to spend a snow day!

A good dump of snow makes you appreciate all the more that our guys are working out hard down there in Clearwater, getting all sweaty and worn out, all for our benefit.

Omg....he sounds like a snow day pro. I think when I was his age, I was being shoved into snow piles by my older brother. Sometimes thrown as well; flying is a hidden talent of mine. The cartoons and hot chocolate sound like the best thing to top it all off.
