It's Election Day! Phew! After the World Series, my old ticker isn't going to be able to stand too much more stress. At least we'll know one way or the other.

Please vote people. If you don't, you know you forfeit the right to complain for the next four years about taxes, gas prices, the environment, women's rights, animal rights, how the Constitution is being eroded, etc etc etc.

Off my bandbox.

Tomorrow I will reveal the 10,000 items I've knitted since the Phillies were in the playoffs (and won the World Series - WOOOOOOO!), and I got blessedly distracted. Plus there's a new addition to the Ker-AZY Kat House!!

I voted! Woohoo!! What was really neat was that as people approached the polling place and saw the long lines they's day, "Isn't this great?!" Everyone was so excited.

There was a long line before the polls opened at my non-swing neighborhood in my non-swing state of Maryland. I can't imagine what things look like in Pennsylvania!

We had a long line at 10:30 in the morning, which is usually the "slow time" every election day. I wonder what it's going to be like at 6 o'clock!

Fingers are crossed and wood is knocked upon. Let's hear how it comes out, after the longest election campaign in history. Eighteen or nineteen months at least. Whew!

In my tiny hamlet, we didn't have a line at least at 6:40. I was #17 and I hope it's a lucky number!!!
Hey DJ - you crazy drum major - get off your bandbox. Okay, I'm off my soapbox!
